Creating an Offline Agenda

 

Windows

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Click the [+] next to Offline for a list of offline options, then select Download.
  3. The first option in the Download section allows you to choose the time period you wish to capture onto you offline agenda.
  4. The Options section, allows you to choose whether to be prompted to download your agenda when you quit the application. Since the process of downloading your agenda takes a few moments, ITD recommends that you have Oracle prompt you before downloading.
  5. Select to be prompted whenever Oracle switches offline or online.
  6. Select to have your offline password match your online password.
  7. Click OK.

 

 

Mac

  1. From the Oracle Calendar menu, select Preferences.
  2. Click Offline, then select the Download tab from the top of the window.
  3. The Download period section allows you to choose the time period you wish to capture onto you offline agenda.
  4. The Download options section, allows you to choose whether to be prompted to download your agenda when you quit the application. Since the process of downloading your agenda takes a few moments, ITD recommends that you have Oracle prompt you before downloading.
  5. Select to be prompted whenever Oracle switches offline or online.
  6. Select to have your offline password match your online password.
  7. Click Ok.

Using the Offline agenda

  • To switch between the offline and online agenda, go to the File menu and select Work Offline or Work Online.
  • The Download to Local File command downloads your online agenda items to the offline agenda based on the time range set in your Options/Preferences.
  • The Upload From Local File command uploads new and modified agenda items from your Offline agenda to your Online agenda.
  • When you are using your offline agenda the network icon in the lower right-hand corner of your agenda window appears broken with 2 red lines. offline icon
